Not actually a sequel; a different storyline set during WWII (before the invention of the toxin in the other film, but never mind). Watching the original is entirely optional and I suggest opting to ignore it and skip directly to this instead. Or skip both. [shrug].
Attention to period-authenticity is convincing enough as are the locations, and it appears they had access to decent cameras as well. Story plods along to a disjointed final act. Overall: Meh.
