Review of Zombie Apocalypse: Redemption (2011) by Michael H — 23 May 2014
Low budget nonsense I'd never heard of, but hey, it was a zombie movie available on Netflix streaming. It's not the worst zombie movie I've seen (that would probably be "Zombie Lake") and there are a few germs of interesting ideas here and there, but overall it's a pretty feebly made and acted story about a drifter who teams up with Fred Williamson's band of zombie apocalypse survivors.
If there's been a real talent behind this story, like Robert Rodriguez, this film might have been a brilliant El Mariachi-style zombie flick. Don't really bother with this one unless you've exhausted all other zombie film options and just need an undead fix.
