Review of Zombie 90: Extreme Pestilence (1991) by Simon P — 14 Jun 2008
There's a certain quality that German made indie splatter flicks have that makes them better, or at least more watchable, than American ones. Andreas Schnaas's early films are easily the weakest of the German gore flicks, but they're still head and shoulders above the work of, say, Todd Sheets.
Zombie '90 is a bit more solidly put together than Schnaas's first two Violent Shit films, but if you don't have the twisted taste for this kind of brutally violent, borderline amateur horror, you're pretty much guaranteed to hate it.
