Review of Zombeavers (2014) by Hayden G — 19 Jun 2015
I dated a guy once.
Some girls decide they need a weekend to themselves and head out into the middle of nowhere to stay in a cabin, hang out by the pool, and catch some rays. Unfortunately, some boys show up as well as some zombie beavers. The girls and their new man friends will need to hold off the beavers until they can be rescued.
"I'm sorry I never ate your pussy.".
Jordan Rubin, director of episodes from the television series Tubbin with Tash, delivers Zombeavers in his directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is very cliché, on purpose, with some great kill scenes and funny special effects. The acting is mediocre and below par for the genre.
"My dick's asleep.".
This was recently added to the Netflix queue and I had to watch it. The concept was crazy and on par with Snakes on a Plan and similar movies in the genre involving crazy animals killing precious young adults. This was a nice blend of comedy and horror but only worth watching once and far from a classic like the Evil Dead franchise.
"Filthy, hairy beavers.".
Grade: C-.
