Review of Zodiac (2007) by Damon H — 11 Nov 2012
An excellent styalistic mystery suspense film about the famed Zodiac killer from California. The best part of the movie were the sets, clothing and make up. The viewer can actually feel the passage of time going by, from watching the fashions change in the movie as the film covers the years from 1968 to 1991.
Jake Gyllenheal and Mark Ruffalo were awesome as the reporter and homicide detective working together to solve the case. I grew up in San Francisco, and watching this film gave me chills from reliving my memories of those times, and remembering my mother's horrible plaid couch set, big ear rings, one tone short dresses, and big hair during the 70's.
