David Fincher does and excellent job creating a story (based on Robert Graysmith's book, Zodiac) around the true-life murders of the Zodiac Killer.
The film stars Jake Ghyllenhaal (who portrays Robert Graysmith, and gives one of his best performances since, Brokeback Mountain and Jarhead), Robert Downey, Jr., and Mark Ruffalo. It also contains a long list of great supporting actors such as: Brian Cox, Chloe Sevigny, Elias Koteas, and Philip Baker Hall.
What makes this film great is its ability to portray the facts of the Zodiac killings in a constant-stylized fashion. It will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire film, leave you feeling satisfied despite its hollow-unresolved ending.
