Review of Zodiac (2007) by Jameson W — 08 Aug 2013
Zodiac is a very thrilling look into the mystery behind the Zodiac killer and how he affected those men who hunted for his identity.
Zodiac is ultimately a tale about obsession, the Zodiac obsessed with his killing and the men obsessed with his identity. Who did more harm in the long run, the Zodiac to those who he killed or the men who let him chip away at their lives making both ruined men and families?
Fincher's direction is constant giving this film a great tone and pacing. His look is omnipresent throughout the film, giving us some very interesting visual moments throughout the film.
The casting is superb. There are allot of characters to remember and we can usual put a face to the name. Plus each actor does well in his or her part, mostly his I might add, as the cast is primarily made up of men.
