Exceptional story of obsession, morality, and grim doings whose compelling script and incredible cast raise it out of the standard detective movie fair. RDJ is on top form, while Ruffalo & Gyllenhaal carry the movie to the 2.
5 hour mark without the audience feeling any bit of fatigue. A must-watch for anyone interested in serial killer psychology/phenomena, or just a great detective story.
