Led by Oscar-worthy performances from Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr, and especially Jake Gyllenhaal, Zodiac forgoes fast-paced action and over-the-top gore, instead focusing on a character- and dialogue-driven story.
The real events-based story has a surprising amount of humor sprinkled in, helping make this one of David Fincher's best.
