Review of Zodiac (2007) by Leon B — 28 Jul 2016
Zodiac is one of them movies that convinces you that certain people in the movie were the killer. You have to watch out for what most people say about the case because if you don't, you lose the whole movie.
Robert Graysmith who is played by Jake Gyllenhaal is a cartoonist, but ends up getting caught up in an investigation that only has fingerprints and handwriting. You would need a lot more to catch a serial killer back then.
Graysmith punches above his weight in the movie: Going on national TV and the Zodiac wasn't happy. Graysmith was getting phone calls once a week from an unknown caller breathing very heavily down the phone.
I wonder if that still haunts Graysmith to this day. Who knows? Only Graysmith knows. This movie in my mind was the best movie of 2007. although I didn't see the movie until July 2011.
