Review of Zhou Yu's Train (2002) by Thomas H — 21 Oct 2007
Shot in beautiful prose and woven like bittersweet poetry. Gong Li steals the screen, needless to say, and although the pace may be slow and the storyline boring to some, I liked how metaphoric everything was.
If you like morose poetry, you will like this train ride.
