This thing gets 4 stars for only 1 reason: it IS Airplane! but without knowing that it will eventually become Airplane!. The guys who made Airplane! (ZAZ), managed to get the rights to this movie, so that they could lift anything and everything they wanted from it for their movie.
Yes, right down to the Ted Stryker name. It is worth watching this movie, just because you will find yourself adding the "Airplaneisms" at every turn (The Hospital! What is it? A building that has patients, but that's not important right now.
..). Not a great movie to start, but good enough to spawn the great Airplane!
