Review of Zero Effect (1998) by Mike E — 04 Jun 2007
This is one of my favourites and is a real sleeper. Pullman plays a modern day Sherlock, complete with drug addictions. When being himself he is completely 'socially inept', however when he's taking on a persona, he can be as smooth as can be...
...and then he meets a girl.
Stiller plays an under-the-radar type, quiet and normal for a change and does a great job of it.
