I saw this when it first came out 9 years ago. That schmuck Ebert picked this as the best film of 98 and for once I agree with him. It got overshadowed because it didnt get that big of a release and was made for just under 5 million.
This might be the most original comedy I have ever seen. Its the best performance Ben Stiller has ever given and more than likely will ever give. It is a fantastic directorial debut from jake Kasdan, when he was just 23 years old.
