Review of Zero Effect (1998) by Marissa S — 14 Oct 2007
This has quickly become one of my favorite comfort movies to watch when I'm feeling sick or down. Bill Pullman does a genius turn as a socially dysfunctional Sherlock Holmes, as does 90's era Ben Stiller as his long suffering, sarcastic assistant.
This clever film is a hip, comic adaptation of the old noir style with a pitch perfect romance thrown in for good measure. Love it!
