Review of Zero Effect (1998) by Simon T — 30 Oct 2007
A really good detective story - quite atypically for Stiller, it actually requires him to act, rather than just pull goofy faces. It's very much a mystery-buff's movie, though - the detecting and the plot are centrestage, rather than random jokiness or action sequences.
But hey, sometimes it's good to enjoy a film for the plot!
