Review of Zero Dark Thirty (2012) by Xersmmack — 13 Jan 2013
Easily the best picture of 2012. Anyone marking this film down has to have been inebriated. How do you tell a story that everyone knows the keynotes to, definitely knows the ending, all while keeping them interested throughout? Not an easy task, but it does help if you have Jessica Chastain to rely on.
We forget that real people play the biggest roles in these kind of things. Tension, humor, unease, shock, passion, vengeance, triumph.
