Review of Zero Dark Thirty (2012) by Dheilan W — 07 Jan 2014
A gripping, taut thriller that improves on what Kathryn Bigelow accomplished in Hurt Locker on almost every level. As the story unfolds you're almost convinced you're watching a documentary and in some respects that's the one downside to the film.
It has to stay so faithful to the reality of the situations it portrays that it can't take many film-like liberties.
