Review of Zero Dark Thirty (2012) by Hrant B — 02 Aug 2014
Overall I think Zero Dark Thirty was a good movie with a great cast. I understand why this movie was not voted top nominated pictures of 2012 because it dragged and took forever to get to the point. Pratt and Egelton were only depicted for the last 30 minutes of the flick although Pratt's character's comments was highly commercialized/promoted the movie.
On another note, being based on true events, I don't believe the CIA ever caught Bin Laden in this fashion, it seemed staged and Bigalow was thrown to the wolves to show the public the heroism of our government officials trying to capture a highly publicized terrorist.
It was good to watch once, unlike Hurt Locker now that's a better movie from the same director that at least won some awards.
