Review of Zelig (1983) by Kinohi N — 21 Jul 2007
A wonderful romantic comedy and a brilliant social satire on the history of immigrant assimilation in the United States. Allen's faux-documentary footage is technically superb and executed with aplomb.
A great pleasure to watch: laughs galore, but there's a depth to this comedy that makes Zelig emblematic of all Americans.
