Review of Zelig (1983) by Matthew K — 13 May 2008
Perhaps Woody Allen's least-known film, and one of his most experimental (and that's saying something). A fantastic concept that falls rather flat in execution. The jokes just aren't fast or frequent enough for the subject matter, making the movie feel a lot darker than it was probably supposed to be.
That said, it's a unique movie that's worth a look if you like mockumentaries.
