Review of Zelig (1983) by Elliot G — 15 Sep 2008
Great movie, great experiment--a sort of pre-Forrest Gump Forrest Gump (except way better) mixed with Woody Allen's trademark angst about self and others. Kudos to DP Gordon Willis for somehow making the different film stocks match perfectly.
One of Woody's more interesting pieces, simply by the virtue of it being so different.
