Review of Zelig (1983) by James J — 30 Jul 2009
This is some brilliant work from Woody Allen. The premise is great -- Woody went to great lengths to ensure the reality/plausibility of this fake chameleon-man what with all of the great interview footage and what not.
There's wit up the wazoo in this one. One thing I would have wanted to see more of is Zelig having conversations with Dr. Fletcher on film, but that's just personal preference. If you're in the mood for a top-notch mockumentary that's funny and different to boot, you'll love Zelig.
