Review of Zelig (1983) by Bradford D — 02 Apr 2011
I loved the sardonic wit of this Woody Allen flick. Unfortunately, it was camouflaged under a boring, faux-documentary so effectively that the humor takes a surgeon to extract. Remember the scenes in "Forest Gump" where he was spliced into old historical films to make a joke? It was funny when used sparingly.
Envision a whole movie with nothing but that and you have a good idea of the experience of "Zelig".
