Review of Zeitgeist: The Movie (2007) by Red Revolution — 06 Mar 2009
Firstly, 'a non-profit filmiac expression to inspire people to start looking at the world from a more critical perspective' is not an accurate description of what 'Zeitgeist' is. It's more like a carefully worded documentary aimed at the sadly large amount of young people who will believe anything they hear.
I'm not claiming that there's nothing in what's being said, and I definitely don't think I know any better, but that is what this film is- and if you honestly think that 30 minutes can cover all the information necessary to prove that there were no planes in the 9/11 attacks, then you are very very lost in the world.
I could never buy into it, but conspiracy theories can be pretty interesting and fun, it doesn't matter if they are total bullcrap, which if anything is what makes this worth seeing. Well put together as a bit of entertainment, but come on, this shit is not educational.
