Review of Zeitgeist: The Movie (2007) by Eric B — 14 May 2009
Uh, I'm a fairly liberal person and as much as this movie makes some good points, especially about religion and using the media to undermine the publics interpretation of politics/war, there's an exhaustive amount of faux panic and contrived, speculative conspiracy in here.
A lot of the 'proof' that 9-11 was an inside job is so cut up, and at times inaccurate, that you realize it's even more ludicrous as they offer no explanation for how these massive conspiracies were manufactured and executed so elegantly.
They merely point fingers and say 'government did it!', but without explanation for how the men behind the curtains pulled it all off, the movie gives the government and bankers an elitist and masterful genius that even the conspirators can't fathom.
They should have provided more clear, peer-reviewed references to back up some of there claims - and although they occasionally do this, the holes that remain in their research diminishes the credibility of the movie.
