Review of Zeitgeist: The Movie (2007) by Jason G — 12 Dec 2008
All in all, even if this is all true, except for the "One Love" part at the end, it misses the point. I've spent most of the past 20-years working my way though a LOT of this stuff. And honestly, there are HUGE factual errors in this film ... just look it up.
I mean, sure, this film could make you run for the hills heavily armed. But I think it's more a of a statement of how disconnected we all feel as a culture. Think about it, for these ideas to have an impact presumes that we're all moving further apart. Which I don't think is true. My path to something greater than myself has shown me that by working on me, I improve the world. I certainly can't explain how that works, but I can see it happen before my eyes everyday.
