Review of Zeitgeist: The Movie (2007) by Bob S — 13 Dec 2008
If you can make it through the first 15 minutes you will find a thought provoking documentary that conspiracy theorists will eat up. I encourage you to pay attention to the intro (even though you will want to turn the movie off at this point) full of overly intellectual, socio-babble dictated behind hypnotic visuals.
What follows is an all-too-convincing yet one-sided expose on how society is being duped all these years by a select group of power mongers. Whether you agree or not on the content - this documentary will have you gripped in awe at its presentation.
No Republican, Democrat or Rockefeller leaves unscathed. I think they even reveal that Santa Claus is a hoax. This documentary has similar themes to Fahrenheit 911 but is trying to take itself seriously unlike the irony filled Moore movies.
