There's a lot of utopian dreams, and conspiracy theory ape-shit craziness... but any film that attempts to debunk religion and apply it to modern day is okay in my book. Why all the anger toward it? Take what you like from it, and leave the rest.
If you don't like any of it, then don't watch it.
