Classic Miike, strange pacing, akward silences, over the top visual puns/gags, amazing soundtrack and Sho Aikawa as a family man who idolizes a 60's sentai that got cancelled after 6 episodes. Honestly funny,.
You will enjoy it if you are sick of super hero movies or grew up watching some Japanese films/ TV shows (even power rangers and you will get a lot of the jokes).
