Review of Zebraman (2004) by Nick P — 05 Aug 2010
The fight scenes weren't as complete as I expected them to be from Takashi Miike, and I know for a fact that he can produce much more "bad-ass" into any piece of film, and think he should have tried just a little bit harder on this one.
..but other than that this film was awesome and nothing less. Unique story, even with all the other "wanna-be superhero" films that have been coming out lately. Takashi Miike is and always will be a master of Cinema, even with a budget worth no more than a few peanuts.
The epic ending gives this film an extra .5 star by itself.
