A complex plot, a variation on the original Yojimbo but with a heavy Zatoichi treatment...
...one thing that tantalizes me is the word "monster" as it was used by the character Yojimbo to describe Zatoichi, especially late in the film, per the subtitles. The spoken word *sounded* phonetically like "bogeyman" to me, but I can't verify it. Can a Japanese speaker help with this? Thanks!
