A real WTF movie, all I can say is that the drugs must have been very good in 1974... Connery causes a riot in a community of peace loving Eternals.
Boorman came straight from Deliverance to this tale of 'the balance of nature'; savage verses intellect.
The title is a play on Wizrd of Oz and the fillm is no less wacky.
Watch it and then scratch your head for a bit...and then a bit more.
"the gun is good, the penis is bad".
Nuff said.
