I don't expect much from Kevin Smith. People see him as a comic genius, but I don't think he's all that great. He's funny sometimes, and he's got some pretty good comic timing, but, for the most part, his work fails to spark any kind of excitement in me.

The same goes for Zack and Miri Make a Porno. From the film's title, you can expect it to be a very sexual movie. And it's not like I have a problem with that. But, really, what is so damn funny about it? That's all that comedies are nowadays. There is constant crude and perverse behavior throughout for nearly no reason and it's just not necessary. I can take it to a certain degree, but throughout this entire movie I felt unclean.

And besides that, the movie just isn't good. It's stupid, and it's characters are stupid, and Kevin Smith wasted a great song that didn't even fit with the opening credits.
