Review of Z for Zachariah (2015) by John K — 28 Aug 2015
The film strays pretty heavily from the book in both plot and messaging, as it adds a character and doesn't take a side in the religion vs. science debate. Ultimately, this is more of a drama than a sci-fi thriller, as it's a bit slow and incredibly dialogue-heavy.
Ultimately, however, phenomenal acting from all involved and a real understated malice from the characters makes this feel like a very personal film.
