Review of Z for Zachariah (2015) by Caleb C — 31 Aug 2015

Despite this film getting rave reviews, I'm sad to say it left me wanting a lot more. Yes, this was a very well made film and I can see a lot of people getting entranced by this movies telling. Also, coming from Craig Zobel, director of Compliance(2012) (and that being one of the best films from that year) I was expecting a much stronger film here that was really lacking in message delivery.

All that being said, the performances here were spot on perfect and the cinematography is something note worthy here as well as the music. The picture as whole though is somewhat forgettable and is worth a look but not something I would watch again.
