Really good! I have to read the book again because I'm sure there are things missing from it in the film, but it kept my full attention. The ending was just that, an end. I cannot remember how the book ended, but I think there was a bit more to it.
The film was beautiful to watch! They were able to portray both the life in that valley plus the loneliness very well.
