Review of Z for Zachariah (2015) by Tara J — 20 Jan 2016
This movie haunts me. From its portrayal of human nature developing in a world without social order or civil society, the way the men hunt their prey in disturbingly subtle ways - the way faith can be overwhelming just as it is fleeting and the interpretations of roles and responsibilities in a post-apocalyptic setting.
Regardless of its relationship to the book, Z For Zachariah is perfectly written and is beyond doubt perfectly acted.
