While Z For Zachariah is less frustrating than Craig Zobel's previous film Compliance, it is still a ponderous missed opportunity, the fault of which lies with the script rather than the director in this case.
The film looks stunning and the cast give their all, but they cannot raise themselves above the terrible adaptation.
