Review of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie (2004) by Andrew S — 27 May 2012
It's an amazing movie if you have seen the anime or read the manga, which clearly none of the critics ever have. In fact, several have likened it to an infomercial. I certainly do not see how this is in anyway a fair comparison.
The movie has a very good plot, and an interesting storyline that shifts from different characters perspectives. It certainly does not deserve the harsh beating that the critics are giving it. Fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! will certainly enjoy the movie.
