Review of Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions (2016) by Shamus G — 31 Jan 2017
After being off the air for over a decade, Kazuki Takahashi's iconic original characters return to the big screen to wow audience members for one final hurrah. A barrage of pulsating animation coupled with some surprisingly superb scripting makes this a treat for both Yu-Gi-Oh! fans and non fans alike.
Arguably the most aesthetically pleasing anime I've ever laid eyes open, the film does a strong job making the most out of the innumerable stories it has to tell. A fitting swan song for the popular characters that oozes with character growth and plot development.
A movie going experience I won't soon forget.
