Review of You've Got Mail (1998) by Matt C — 06 Feb 2012
It's no 'Sleepless in Seattle'...that's for sure. Where that film had good humour and charm this is just a bit of a muddle. The main characters go from hatred to love at the drop of a hat basically because Hanks stalks her! The strong points all revolve around the family shop and yet they drop that plot point like a hot potato.
Ryan is still charming and so is Hanks but its still only average, without them it would have been terrible.
