Review of Youth Without Youth (2007) by Brandon F — 16 Jan 2008
After the movie was over, another filmgoer and I debated if the meaning of the film was "Maturing is only complete once the realization of one's inevitable death occurs, including all the ramifications of not reaching one's goals or contributing to the world in any great or meaningful way" or "Sleeping in a darkened theatre has it's advantages.
" I won't say which viewpoint won out, but, in the words of Hagel, "I said Hagel, not bagel! Hagel!".
