I like the representation of the personalities or spirits of the past. I think he hit the "nuclear war & depression" bit a little too hard. I like Tim Roth, and I like all the doctor/researcher/professor characters that surround him.
The upside-down filming, weird angles etc... I accepted it! It worked. I wanted this movie to be better. I have no idea what he could have done to make it better.
