Review of Youth Without Youth (2007) by Brian R — 06 May 2009

A fantastic crew of actors in a beautifully made film by a great director. Mr. Coppola is one of the cinema's peerless masters, but unfortunately it's not enough. The story is based on speculations about aging, time and conciousness but in a incomprehensible way.

I wish I had read the book by Mircea Eliade first to get a better understanding of the story that Coppola doesn't deliver. The film also gets very boring and dull from time to time and I can only give it a 3 star.
