Review of Youth in Revolt (2009) by Ana B — 11 Feb 2011

Sweet coming of age comedy about a young man falling in love for the first time. To try to get the girl he starts to do some crazy stuff pushed by his devious alter ego.

There are a few really funny characters like his mum, and the girlfriend's brother and hilarious scenes like the one with the mushrooms.

I have seen a couple of the other pictures of Michael Cera and I have the impression that he plays himself all the time, but, in his discharge he does it really well. I think it would be good if he was given the chance to have another sort of role where he could display his potential.
