Review of Youth in Revolt (2009) by Joey M — 25 May 2012
This was a fairly cute movie... and while reading the synopsis and looking at the cast listing I figured itd be a barrel of laughs, it wasnt. it ended up a sappy story with a wisp or two of comedy sprinkled in.
Michael Cera was amazing, as usual, but the supporting cast of Zack G., Steve Beuscemi, Justin Long, and Ray Liotta played pretty minimal parts and the parts portrayed were kinda outta charachter for the most part.
all in all id def reccomend as a redbox rental, but not really a solid purchase.
