I haven't seen this since 2010 and my peanut of a brain can't recall the details of Youth in Revolt, only that it was fairly enjoyable and was an interesting addition to the whole coming of age genre thing.
I admit that Michael Cera is someone that i'm not too much a fan of but I thought his portrayal of Francois was particularly amusing. I didn't find this funny though, and I didn't connect with Nick either so I was kind of just.
..THERE. Oh, the weird animations were kind of...uh...yeah HAHAHA.
