Deftly blending its own brand of R-rated gags with some sincerely tender moments, Youth in Revolt is sweet little comedy whose success is partially hindered by its ethically questionable conclusion, suggesting that bad behavior (like burning down a town block) is acceptable when it's done in the name of love.

I find that proposal not only ludicrous, but kind of offensive.
