Typical family comedy. Rene Russo did an alright job, but Dennis Quaid seemed a little uncomfortable in his role at times. Anyway, Linda Hunt and the kids did great. (Miranda Cosgrove's in there!) The plot wasn't too bad but I was a little pissed that many characters were not fully utilised and ended up as white elephants (e.
G. the pig). Can't believe this is a remake of an old film that was based on a true story.
